Kendall turns 10 on September 7th. She asked if she could invite a friend and spend a night at the Great Wolf Lodge in Charlotte because she loves their indoor waterpark. We decided this would be a great idea, but had to do it this past weekend due to soccer and football games starting in full force over the labor day weekend. So, after Kendall's 8am soccer game Saturday, we stopped at home to get our luggage, swung by Lydia's house to pick her up and we (just the girls) were off! We arrived at 2 on Saturday and left at 4 on Sunday. The girls were actively playing in the waterpark for 13 of those hours! I got to sit and read a book and tend to their snack and meal needs while they rode ride after ride. Plenty of photos were taken as well. Kendall (and Lydia for that matter) declared it a great way to celebrate a birthday!
