what were we thinking?

we have been outside all weekend in terrible heat and humidity. i am not joking: temperatures have been right at 100 degrees with heat indexes of 105+. kendall has played in a soccer tournament with one game friday night, two on saturday and two games today. justin has attended a football camp hosted by the local high school, it was seven hours yesterday (with a 1.5 hour indoor lunch break) and three hours today. i am tired of sweating and being stinky. i was at all the soccer games and i honestly don't know how those girls can move in the heat, much less run. we didn't even have clouds- just full-on sun. justin says he learned a lot at his football camp. kendall had a blast and scored two goals in her morning game today!! and both kids came away with t-shirts from their respective activities. i am, however, thankful to be back indoors and not sweating. i don't think you'll find me sticking as much as a toe outside for the rest of the day :-)
