We had plans for friends to visit from Richmond this weekend. Those plans had to be rescheduled because Justin has bronchitis and was still contagious until last night and is coughing a lot at night, which could very well have kept our visitors from sleeping. We had 4 tickets to see Florida State play at Wake Forest- that Keith, Justin, Jeff and Sean were going to use. Since Justin is no longer contagious today and does most of his coughing at night once in bed, we decided that the four of us would drive to Winston Salem today and see the game. After four or five days of rain, the sun came out just before game time and the temps warmed to 70 degrees. Perfect football weather! We also had perfect seats- on the 50 yard line. If that weren't enough to make our day, there's more. We were seated among several other Seminole fans AND FSU looked good- they won.

After the game, Keith and Justin headed down towards the field. Justin scored a glove from Greg Reid, a wristband from Dakota Watson (Keith's favorite defensive player) and then we all got to go on the field! There, we watched (up close and personal) our starting quarterback today (EJ Manual) being interviewed- he is very tall. Justin got his jersey signed by Christian Ponder (quarterback) , Dustin Hopkins (kicker), Dakota Watson as well as Dexter Carter who played when Keith was there but now coaches. Kendall moved in for a jersey signing from Christian Ponder as well. Justin was so star-struck and has barely had his glove off. He is now determined to play football for Florida State someday!

What a great way to spend our Saturday together.
