We were treated to a very unexpected two inch snow on Tuesday followed by a forecasted 8-12 inches last night. Thankfully, we didn't get that much as it was a very wet, heavy snow. Our power flickered off and on all night, though we were blessed not to loose it altogether as some did very close by. While waking to this was a beautiful sight, our next door neighbors didn't fare so well...this pine fell on their house at 4am.
The kids have been out of school 7.5 of the past 9 school days and it's not looking favorable that they will return tomorrow. This is unlike anything I've ever experienced. The kids are loving it and to be honest, I'm not complaining about the laid back lifestyle this kind of weather forces upon you :)
