Justin and Keith went camping Thursday and Friday. It was a school field trip that every fifth grader looks forward to; traveling to Camp Don Lee on the Neuse River via charter bus. Keith went as a chaperone, one who was every bit as excited as the students to attend. The boys came home this afternoon around 4:30, Justin was limping a bit, both lugging lots of stuff...and boy did they SMELL!!! (One activity was dissecting fish- it took place yesterday and no one bathed last night). It is just before 8pm on a Friday night and both boys are bathed, teeth are brushed and they are in bed. I predict they will fall asleep within minutes. Keith got a call from our next door neighbor asking him to play poker tonight. He said "no way".
Looks like next year will be my turn at Camp Don Lee with Kendall's class. I just hope I don't come home smelling like fish :-)
